What Is an MM2 Trade Checker?

An MM2 Trade Checker compares the items you are giving with the items you are receiving and shows whether the trade is a Win, Fair, or Loss (WFL).

To check a trade, add every item on both sides. The calculator totals the listed values and compares the two offers, so you can check the deal before accepting it in Murder Mystery 2.

If you also want to check individual item values before building a trade, use the MM2 Value Checker to review the listed value of an item first.

How the MM2 Trade Checker Works

For another trade comparison, you can also open the MM2 Trade Checker page before accepting a deal.

The checker uses the value assigned to each item in its data set. It adds the values on your side and the other trader's side, then compares the totals. Demand is shown separately because an item's listed value does not tell you how easy it may be to trade.

MM2 values are community reference points, not official Roblox prices. Different value lists can disagree, so use the calculator as a comparison tool rather than treating one number as a guaranteed selling price.

How to Check an MM2 Trade

You can check a trade in four steps:

  1. Add Your Offer: Select every knife, gun, pet, or other supported item you are giving.
  2. Add Their Offer: Select every item you are receiving.
  3. Read the WFL result: The center result compares the two totals.
  4. Check the value difference: Look at the difference before accepting the trade.

Always include small adds. Leaving out one item can change the total and produce a misleading result.

What Win, Fair, and Loss Mean

  • Win: The items you receive have a higher listed total than the items you give.
  • Fair: The two listed totals are close enough to fall inside the calculator's fair range.
  • Loss: The items you receive have a lower listed total than the items you give.

A WFL result is not the whole trade. Demand, rarity, availability, and what other traders are currently offering can affect how easy an item is to move later.

Compare the listed value of both sides before accepting an MM2 trade.

How the Trade Result Is Calculated

The checker first totals both offers. It then compares your total with the value of the items you receive. In simple terms:

Difference = Their Total โˆ’ Your Total

๐ŸŸข Win

Their total is higher than your total by more than the fair range.

๐ŸŸก Fair

The two totals are close and fall within the calculator's fair range.

๐Ÿ”ด Loss

Their total is lower than your total by more than the fair range.

The percentage shown by the calculator is a relative difference based on your total. Because MM2 values are community estimates, the percentage should be treated as a comparison signal, not a guaranteed profit.

MM2 Values and Demand

When cross-checking a completed trade, you can also use this MM2 Trade Checker as another reference.

The calculator displays an item's value, tier, type, and demand. These numbers are reference points for comparing MM2 trades. Values can change when supply, demand, new releases, or trading trends change.

The table above uses the same item data as the calculator, so the displayed numbers are consistent within this page. For the full item database, use the dedicated MM2 values page.

How MM2 Values Work

MM2 item values are reference numbers used to compare items during player-to-player trading. A value is useful for measuring the size of an offer, but it is not an official Roblox price and it does not guarantee what another player will accept.

  • Higher listed value: Usually means the item contributes more to the total shown by the checker.
  • Rarity or tier: Helps describe where an item sits in the MM2 item pool, but tier alone does not determine trade value.
  • Demand: Adds context about how actively an item is wanted or traded.

Value vs Demand: What's the Difference?

Value and demand answer different questions. Value helps compare the numerical size of two offers, while demand gives you an idea of how desirable or tradeable an item may be.

For example, two items can have similar listed values while one is easier to trade because more players want it. That is why a WFL result should be used together with demand and the actual items involved, rather than as the only factor in a trade decision.

MM2 Trade Example

Imagine you offer two items with a combined listed value of 100 and receive one item listed at 120. The checker compares 120 against 100, so the receiving side has the higher listed total and the result is a Win.

If both sides are within the calculator's 5% fair range, the result is Fair. If the items you receive are worth less than what you give by more than that range, the result is Loss. Demand can still affect whether the trade is attractive after the numerical result.

Common MM2 Trading Mistakes

For trades that are close in value, you can also cross-check the numbers with this MM2 Checker Calculator before confirming the deal.

โœ— Checking only the biggest item

Add every item on both sides. Small adds can change the total enough to affect the result.

โœ— Using an old value

MM2 trading values are not fixed. Check the current list before comparing a trade.

โœ— Ignoring demand

Two items can have similar listed values but different demand. A lower-demand item may take longer to trade.

โœ— Treating WFL as a guarantee

A calculator compares its value data. It cannot guarantee that another player will accept a trade or that an item will keep its current value.

โœ— Rushing the final confirmation

Verify every item, quantity, and side of the trade before accepting it in-game.

MM2 Trade Safety Tips

A calculator can compare values, but it cannot protect you from every trading mistake. Before accepting an in-game trade:

  • Check every item and quantity on both sides one final time.
  • Do not accept a trade just because another player is rushing you.
  • Be careful with screenshots or value claims that you cannot verify.
  • Use the calculator before the final confirmation, not after the trade is complete.

FAQ

How do I check MM2 item values?

Select an item in the Value Calculator tab. The tool shows its listed value, tier, demand, and type.

Is the MM2 Trade Checker accurate?

It is accurate to the value data currently stored in the calculator. That does not mean the listed value is an official Roblox price or a guaranteed trade price.

How often should I check MM2 values?

Check the values again when you are making a trade, especially for high-value or high-volatility items. Community values can change over time.

What does demand mean in MM2?

Demand is a reference score for how actively an item is wanted or traded. Higher demand can make an item easier to trade, but it does not guarantee a buyer.

Is the MM2 Trade Checker free?

Yes. The checker on this page is free to use and does not require a login.
