How to Summon the Leviathan — Full Spawn Chain

Reach Sea Danger Level 6
Sail in the Third Sea with 5+ players on the same boat. Sea Danger Level increases as you sail further. Level 6 is the requirement for the Frozen Dimension to appear — this is endgame sailing territory with high Sea Beast frequency.
Find and Enter the Frozen Dimension
At Level 6, the Frozen Dimension island can appear. It has a large gate as its only structure. Enter the gate — visibility shifts and turns white inside. Find the Frozen Watcher NPC on the island. Bribe the Spy NPC (costs 6,000) to significantly increase Leviathan spawn odds, though it is not mandatory.
Interact With Frozen Watcher
After the Frozen Watcher is triggered and conditions are met (5+ players on boat, not on cooldown), a cutscene plays of the Leviathan approaching from a distance. Once the cutscene triggers, the boss fight begins immediately — players who joined after the cutscene cannot damage the boss.

4 segments must be destroyed before the main body takes damage.

How to Get the Leviathan Heart
The Heart unlocks Sanguine Art — the most important drop from this boss.
1 Minute Window
After the main body dies, the Leviathan Heart spawns in the water. It has exactly 1 minute lifespan before despawning permanently. Start looking for the Beast Hunter boat when the main body reaches 10–15% HP — not after it dies.
Beast Hunter Required
The Heart can only be harpooned using the harpoon from the Beast Hunter boat. Without Beast Hunter present, the Heart despawns and no one receives it. One player must locate and bring Beast Hunter before the main body dies.
Assign a Beast Hunter Role Before the Fight
Before the Leviathan spawns, designate one player to locate the Beast Hunter boat. They search while others fight. The boat must be ready when the main body reaches ~15% HP.
Harpoon the Heart Immediately
When the main body dies, the Beast Hunter player uses the harpoon on the Heart within the 1-minute window. Dying before harpooning — even if you return — forfeits the Heart drop.
Transport to Tiki Outpost
Bring the harpooned Heart back to the Tiki Outpost on the main island. Survive the journey without the boat sinking — if it sinks or you die en route, the Heart is lost and Sanguine Art is not unlocked.
